Cortney - Our ear, nose, and throat
specialists is recommending us to have our 4 year old sons adenoids to be
removed. They
are causing him congestion and problems in his ears.
What
can I do with the oils to help us avoid this surgery? Any
suggestions?
Rob - I would do anything and
everything to avoid a adenoidectomy for my child. Adenoids and tonsils play a
large part in our health and fighting off infections. I would apply Purify daily on
neck over tonsils. I would do a daily lymphatic
massage using grapefruit and peppermint. strokes down the length of the
neck, under the jaw and around the ears. Rotate weekly or more with
breathe and eucalyptus. I would get him to drink 3
drops of on guard twice daily in juice. He should be drinking lots of
water (with lemon) to
flush system. Have him cup and inhale or use
a nasal inhaler three times daily with eucalyptus & peppermint or
breathe. (do not underestimate to power of aroma inhalation)
Cut out pasteurized milk in
case it is a dairy allergy that is contributing toward swollen or inflamed
adenoid.
It is a lot of attention and work. But
essential oils can help. follow this protocol till the
inflammation was gone, the adjust your protocol as necessary to
maintain good health.
Please keep us up to date.
Courtney - Thanks, Rob! I will begin
using your suggestions right away... I didn;t even think
about the milk, my son is a huge milk drinker!
Sunny - Sorry about coming late to this
party (thread). My son had his adenoids out at a young age
and still, to this day, gets congested (he's 40 next year).
So, I'd say surgery isn't always the 'fix all' it's
supposed to be.
Pat - Have you tried a regiment of
oils yet? Breathe, Lemon and OnGuard on the bottom of his feet, diffuse
Breath or Eucalyptus in his room at night. When goes to sleep put breathe
under his nose. Adjust the oils according to your feelings for his wellness. I
too would try to avoid surgery.
