Experiences and Testimonials of others

Michelle - Can anyone help me with an exact protocol we could use for a little girl (2/3 yrs old) with lactose intolerance?  I'm interested to know if anyone has actually used the lemongrass or DigestZen (particularly on children) and exactly how many drops they used, when they applied it eg. immediately before eating milk products or once/day regularly, etc.  Any information would be appreciated.

Pat - This is what I would do if it were me. I would make a blend of equal drops of melaleuca and lemon then add less of the oregano. Put this blend on the bottom of her feet every morning (put socks on for a while). This is the original blend we used for Candida which is similar to GX Assist. I use this for children who can't take the capsules that GX Assist come in.

Do this blend for 10 days, then rest 10 and repeat, rest 10 again and repeat. Follow this with the PB Assist probiotics.  These are in very tiny beadlets and she should have no problem taking them.

During this time I would also apply DigestZen on the belly button area, if her skin is sensitive use it with a little FCO. Be consistent and do not try to incorporate milk products till you are through with the protocol and then just a little at a time.

Editor’s comment – a comment about diarrhea and lactose intolerance

Lisa - Also, I would suggest the PB assist. Diarrhea is a sign that you are not digesting something properly. PB Assist should help with that. Do you eat dairy products? Diarrhea is on of the signs that someone has become partly or fully lactose intolerant. Changing to raw dairy products which have the enzymes for digestion (destroyed in pasteurization) can help take care of this problem if that is the cause.
