Problems
Uterine fibroids are benign (noncancerous) tumors that
are found in the uterus. There are a number of medical
terms used to describe the various locations of the tumors
within
the uterus. (see diagram) The reason for the growth of these
fibroid tumors is not understood but some suggest they are
linked to the hormone estrogen. They occur in the
majority of women but often go undetected because they are
very small or cause no noticeable symptoms.
Typically if they develop during child bearing years
there will be more than one and they will slowly grow. They
can be a factor in heavy menstrual bleeding and/or menstrual
discomfort but seldom are they a factor in uterine cancer or
do they become cancerous tumors.

Oils, blends & products
recommended:
Oils & Blends:
frankincense, geranium, sandalwood
Essential oils based
products: GX Assist, PB Assist
Also consider:
cypress, eucalyptus
Suggested protocols:
Dr. David K. Hill in his presentation on Hormonal Balance gives
this important observation, "Frankincense should also be
considered for disorders of the uterus such as fibroid
cysts, etc. Use it to reduce existing abnormalities or
consider it to prevent their formation. Frankincense will
also balance the endocrine system. Use it by placing 2 or 3
drops under the tongue every night and every morning."
Dr. Hill and others suggest there is a connection between
uterine fibroids and candida and suggest the candida cleanse
using GX Assist and PB Assist. Also see
candida.
Pain and Cramps - here are two protocols
folks have found successful:
- Take 8 -12 drops of
sandalwood internally in a capsule at the outset. On
the second day take 6 - 8 drops of sandalwood in a capsule.
- Apply 2 - 4 drops
each of cypress and rosemary topically to the abdomen.
Use a warm compress on abdomen after applying oils.
Experiences and Testimonials of others
Miki - I would like
to ask about my sister who has been suffering with female
problems for years. She has had a couple of surgeries
already in the past for uterine fibroids and an ovarian
tumor. She still has lots of pain, sometimes the pain is so
severe, she can't do anything but roll around on the floor!
She's gone to doctors after doctors, the last one told her
that they just couldn't find any cause. She is in her early
40s, never been married, no children. I would like to
help her with something.
Julie Ann - I would definitely start the
GX and PB Assist ASAP along with the LLW. Candida yeast is
the fall guy for many women and it leads into much heartache
and distress to top it all off. If she wants to
help with the cramps use 8-12 drops of sandalwood in a
capsule the second she thinks they are starting. That alone
was a miracle for me when I still had periods. I
usually only had to take one capsule the first day and 6
drops the second day (but if you need more, take another
capsule). The rest was clear sailing until the next month.
It totally saved my sanity I can tell you! Also for the
outside of the abdomen help, Dr. Hill says to use bergamot
topically on the lower abdomen. He says that it takes care
of cramps. Hope this helps.
ps....If she wants to find out if she has systemic
Candida yeast....do the spit test. First thing
in the morning get a clear glass drinking glass, fill it
with water and spit in it. If the spit has tentacles that
head to the bottom of the glass, then for certain she is
dealing with yeast. This is where the GX and PB Assist come
in, along with the LLW.
Rebecca - I have a
question about uterine fibroids. My mom has a couple and is
wondering if there is an oil that would help possibly get
rid of them? She is 56 and is at the beginning of menopause
and also has struggled with high blood pressure. I am
encouraging her to do the candida cleanse and then start
some oils for her other issues. Thankyou!
Dian - In preparation for a
hysterectomy, this past March, I was inspired to use 4 drops
of frankincense on a cotton tampon seven days before
surgery. I thought I had done something that would postpone
my surgery. I started having pain like never before and
bleeding that was dark and smelly. That lasted for about 4
days and then I felt great and ready for surgery. I had the
opportunity to talk to Emily Wright. She told me I had done
the right thing as the frankincense would help get rid of
the bad stuff and promote the good healthy tissue. When the
tests returned from the lab, the uterus and ovaries were in
good shape, other than there was a polyp forming in the
uterine wall.
Joni - I have a
friend with a uterine fibroid about the size of a 14 week
fetus. She wants to avoid having a hysterectomy. Emily
suggested Frankincense, Lemon and Cyprus taken internally.
Any other suggestions, or experiences.
Pat - I talked to Dr. Hill about this
and he told my friend about the candida blend: lemon,
melaleuca and oregano taken internally and also internally
(meaning the mouth and vagina). The important thing is
consistency.
Jessica - Oregano vaginally, really? I
am a tough oil chick and even I wouldn't do that!
Pat - I know, that's what I thought, but
that's what he told her to do. Even if you didn't do it that
way, taking it by mouth would be helpful. Take it by mouth
for 15 days then change the formula to Frankincense,
Sandalwood and Thyme for three days then change the Thyme
for Lavender, three days then the change the lavender for
clove, three days, then change the clove for orange, three
days. Then start over repeating the same procedure. Part of
this procedure is the cancer protocol but it helped to
reduce her cysts. This is a suggestion only and is not meant
to cure or to replace your medical attention.
Dian- I would suggest at least
frankincense on a tampon. I used it before having a
hysterectomy and had a little bleeding. My thoughts on the
bleeding are that what ever was in the uterus that needed to
come out before surgery did so. I was following the same
path as my mother toward uterine and cervical cancer. I also
use helichrysum on the outside of my lower abdomen. Lavender
would also be good.
Kathy - Frankincense is excellent for
fibroids. I would insert 4-5 drops vaginally using a
syringe at least 2 times daily also an equal blend of
frankincense and lavender applied to the lower abdomen every
night. Finally I would drink lemon in all my water. It may
take some time, but I would expect some shrinkage..
