they had been.
Vulvar varicosities and
inflammation of veins:

drops helichrysum

Experiences and Testimonials of others
Lisa - Can someone
tell me what oils would be good for spider veins especially
on the face.
Jan - I successfully used a massage
blend of
· 30 drops cypress,
· 20 drops lavender, and
· 10 drops of any of the citrus oils
· in 2 oz coconut oil
to reduce a lot of spider veins around my knees and
ankles to almost none at all. I applied the blend morning
and night I began to see improvement in about a month. Once
that happened, I only applied it right after my shower and
they continued to improve for another 3 or 4 months to
become about 10% of what they had been. I later stopped
using it to see what would happen. After several months,
they began to slowly return, but they virtually disappeared
again very soon after I resumed the after-shower routine.
After 5 or 6 years of using the blend, they are still quite
minimal, although they are not completely gone.
Rob - Helichrysum, cypress, and
lemongrass are oils I would consider to diminish spider
veins. Helichrysum is most generally suggested for varicose
veins but I have heard of success with the other oils. I
would apply several times daily
neat or with
VCO carrier (with
lemongrass definitely use a carrier).
Anonymous - Any
suggestions for varicose veins?
Pat – For varicose veins consider the
same blend as that suggested for spider veins:
· 30 drops of cypress
· 20 drops of lavender
· 10 drops of any citrus oil
· in 2 oz. of coconut oil.
Gently rub the blend over the vein and up towards the
heart above the vein. Apply morning and evening and be
consistent. You should see improvement in about one
month if the veins are small and longer for larger veins. I
know some who have taken up to six months, but had great
success.
Another oils user suggested adding helichrysum to the
blend, she said it helped her a lot. I would think that
would help if the veins are swollen or inflamed.
Jessica – Also recognize that the
protocol for varicose veins will be the same protocol as
that for vulvar varicosities and "inflamed" veins in other
discussions.
Pat - Another friend, after using the
protocol above, suggested adding helichrysum to the blend,
she said it helped her a lot. I would think that would help
if the veins are swollen or inflamed. Pictures are
included below of her success using helichrysum.
Also cypress is mentioned frequently. That's
because it has a valuable effect as a vasoconstrictor on
varicose veins and hemorrhoids. "It is beneficial in
conditions of excess fluid, such as bleeding, nosebleeds,
heavy menstruation, heavy perspiration, cough and
bronchitis, hemorrhages and fluid retention."
The technique used with helichrysum was to mix 50 drops
of helichrysum in 8 ounces of an all-natural lotion base and
applied to her legs for six weeks. The photos below
show the amazing difference after six weeks!
